Job Description: for Cloud Software Architect – Multiple Cities

Leading & contributing to the Kyndryl MCMS Offerings charter, leveraging deeper understanding of the industry/market trends and present-day customer needs.
Owning the Technical strategy and Architecture of one or more Managed Services Offerings, across Hybrid and Public Clouds.
Developing Offering blueprint and reference architecture for one or more Managed Services Offerings
Acting as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing consultation and advisory services.
Articulating Kyndryl’s Managed Services Offerings and Solutions value proposition and engaging effectively on new opportunities/leads.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

12-20 years of experience and overall understanding of cloud and non-cloud technologies.
3-5 years of Architecture / Engineering / Consulting experience on Cloud and Enterprise Data-Center Environments
Around 2-3 years of hands-on experience with at least one of the Hyperscalers – Azure, AWS, GCP or VMWare
Certified at Expert (Azure) or Solution Architect Professional (AWS) or Cloud Architect Professional (GCP) or VMWare Certified Solution Architect. Proven skills & sound knowledge of Infrastructure design (Compute, Storage, Network).
DevOps experience for both Hyperscaler PaaS services as well as SaaS solutions such as GitHub, Jenkins
Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new and emerging technologies.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Additional specialty certifications in Hyperscaler PaaS services (AI/ML, IoT, Security, Developer) preferred. AWS speciality certifications in DevOps, Security, Networking preferred.
Strong Python programming skills (recommended). Ansible or Chef or other programming language (eg Java) experience also acceptable.
