 Rigorously chase up applicants for deposits at the appropriate time.
 Invite prospects to University visits with the aim of having them converted after meeting the delegates.
 Keep abreast of applicant shortfall for the week and ensure they are not accumulated over a period of time.

The Delhi Government launched an online job fair portal to get jobs for the unemployed. The Government has launched this portal keeping in view the job fair in Delhi next month, so that the unemployed youth can register themselves on their own, and do not waste time in the long line for registration at Job Fair. . Gopal Roy, Labor and Employment Minister of Delhi Government, told that the state government is organizing Job Fair in Faith Nagar, Delhi between July 11 and 15. This event will be held at a small level, but in November-December, the employment fair will be organized at large level from the Department of Labor and Employment.

Gopal Roy told that a person looking for employment can visit the Employment Directorate’s website and register himself for the employment fair. At the same time, the applicant can find a job according to his skills and qualifications on the portal. He said that private companies have to register themselves with the government to participate in the job fair. Roy said that about 14 lakh people are registered in the employment office in Delhi. More than 2 lakh unemployed people register for employment every year.

The idea of creating a portal from the previous Job Fair

Roy said that the state government has organized two big job fairs in the last few days. In the first job fair 2000 and the other 10000 people were employed. But it is difficult to gather on-the-spot company and job seekers during both job feasors. After this the Government considered to create this Job Fair portal so that the work of matching unemployed youth and companies could already be completed.

How to Register

Those seeking employment will have to go to the portal by going to delhi.gov.in. There they will have to go to the vacancies column. In this column, they will know where they can get jobs. In this, people interested in employment will have to register. Similarly, companies will also have to register on this portal. From the portal, young people will know about the company and the vacancies available in it so that they can choose the company according to their mind.
