Job Description:
We are hiring a Cutting Supervisor to manage and monitor fabric cutting operations in the production unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in garment or textile cutting processes and the ability to supervise a team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely output.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily cutting floor operations and workforce.
Plan fabric utilization to reduce wastage and ensure precision.
Interpret cutting plans and lay markers according to patterns.
Ensure proper handling and labeling of cut components.
Maintain inventory of fabric, cutting tools, and related materials.
Coordinate with the production and quality departments to meet targets.
Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Train and guide cutting staff on best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cutting Supervisor in garments/textiles.
Knowledge of fabric types, cutting techniques, and marker planning.
Ability to manage a team and handle production deadlines.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of cutting machines (manual or automatic)
