Job Title: Telecaller

Job Description:

As a Telecaller, your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to prospective customers or clients with the goal of generating sales leads, setting up appointments, or providing information about products or services. You will be expected to effectively communicate with individuals over the phone, build rapport, and persuade them to take the desired action.


  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers or clients using a provided list or database.
  • Introduce yourself and the company’s products or services to potential customers.
  • Engage in conversation to understand the customer’s needs and identify opportunities for sales or appointments.
  • Provide accurate information about products or services and address any customer queries or concerns.
  • Follow a script or sales pitch to ensure consistency and maximize effectiveness.
  • Maintain a polite and professional tone while speaking with customers.
  • Use persuasive techniques to encourage customers to take the desired action, such as purchasing a product or scheduling an appointment.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes in a CRM system or database.
  • Achieve individual and team targets or quotas for calls made, leads generated, or sales closed.
  • Collaborate with team members and sales representatives to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competition to enhance sales efforts.
  • Participate in regular training and coaching sessions to improve sales and communication skills.


  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a telecaller, telemarketer, or similar customer service/sales role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and confident speaking voice.
  • Ability to engage customers in conversation and build rapport over the phone.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Good listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM software or databases.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
