Job description:

• Proven experience as a Crystal Report Developer.
• Proficiency in MS SQL and database concepts, with the ability to write simple or complex queries.
• Should have good knowledge of ASP.NET and IIS. Should be able to install & Configure Web Apps on IIS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Should have completed Bachelor’s degree or Diploma and should have 2 to 3 years of working experience

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather report requirements, understand data sources, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to be included in reports.
• Design and develop Crystal Reports based on the requirements, utilizing Crystal Reports Designer and related tools.
• Create data models and design database queries to extract the required data for reporting purposes.
• Design and format report layouts, including tables, charts, graphs, and other visual elements, ensuring clarity and ease of interpretation.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data from various databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and report performance.
• Conduct data analysis to identify data discrepancies, validate report accuracy, and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
• Collaborate with developers and database administrators to ensure data integrity and security, as well as optimize data structures and performance.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing Crystal Reports, addressing issues, enhancing functionality, and improving performance as needed.
• Assist in the migration of Crystal Reports to newer versions or alternative reporting solutions, as required.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Crystal Reports development, recommending and implementing improvements to reporting processes and tools.
