Overview

Required Expertise
Minimum 10 – 12 years of experience in Linux System programming in the Storage domain
Working knowledge in Data Protection or Work Load migration on VMware
Proven programming experience using VMware Storage and Management APIs
Ability to develop applications using C/C++/data structures/algorithms and understanding of OS internals, Memory Management, Socket programming on Linux
Superb experience working in agile development environments

Preferred Expertise

Validated experience in developing replication or migration products in Storage Snapshots
Skilled to configure and administer VMware environments from VCenter
Knowledge about Service provider environments and DRaaS offerings
Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
