Role Overview
We’re looking for a Video Editor who is a creative technologist at heart — someone who loves to experiment with visuals, sound, and AI. You’ll bridge traditional video editing excellence with cutting-edge AI-powered content creation, crafting stories that connect deeply with audiences across our educational platforms.
You can edit a documentary in Premiere, design motion graphics in After Effects, and generate stunning visuals in Runway or Veo3 — all while maintaining narrative flow and educational impact. This role is perfect for someone who wants to be at the forefront of AI-driven storytelling in India’s most forward-thinking EdTech content studio.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
Edit long-form and short-form videos including case studies, tutorials, explainers, and creative content
Work with traditional tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro
Ensure narrative accuracy, pacing, and viewer retention throughout long-form edits
Perform color grading, correction, and final quality checks
Optimize videos for various platforms and formats (YouTube, social media, web)
AI-Powered Content Creation
Create AI-driven visuals and avatars using Sora, Google Veo3, Runway, Midjourney, HeyGen, and ElevenLabs
Replicate and enhance existing video styles using AI to maintain cinematic consistency
Generate AI-powered B-roll, transitions, and visual elements
Integrate AI-generated content seamlessly with traditional footage
Stay updated with emerging AI video tools and techniques
Creative Development & Storytelling
Generate scripts and concepts aligned with project goals and brand storytelling
Develop storyboards and visual flow before production
Craft compelling narratives that educate and engage viewers
Understand content strategy, audience psychology, and educational storytelling flow
Adapt creative approach based on target audience and content objectives
Motion Graphics & Visual Design
Design and animate motion graphics, infographics, and visual data representations
Create engaging title sequences, lower thirds, and visual elements
Develop branded templates and visual assets for consistent content output
Enhance educational content with clear, informative visual explanations
Build dynamic transitions and effects that support storytelling
Sound Design & Audio Production
Perform sound design, music editing, and voice synchronization for immersive content
Layer music, sound effects, and dialogue for optimal audio experience
Ensure clear audio quality and appropriate mixing levels
Synchronize AI-generated voices with visual content
Create atmospheric soundscapes that enhance viewer engagement
Project Management & Collaboration
Maintain a clear file and project structure for smooth collaboration and version control
Organize assets, versions, and backups systematically
Collaborate with content creators, educators, and marketing teams
Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Provide feedback and suggestions for content improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
Experience – 2+ years of experience in video editing and content creation
Traditional Editing Tools – Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro
AI Tools Proficiency – Proficiency with AI tools: Sora, Google Veo3, Runway, Midjourney, HeyGen, and ElevenLabs
Long-Form Editing – Experience in long-form content editing (documentary, case study, tutorial, explainer)
Visual Storytelling – Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and rhythm
Technical Skills
Skilled in motion graphics, sound design, and music layering
Ability to generate scripts, concepts, and AI avatars aligned with storytelling goals
Color grading and correction expertise
Understanding of video codecs, formats, and compression
Knowledge of file management and project organization best practices
