a. Collect all patient information and should enter the details in the HIMS.

b. Responsible for greeting, instructing, directing and scheduling patients and visitors.

c. Confirm accuracy and update patient demographics in HIMS.

d. Should collect all supporting documents needed for insurance billing and verification.

e. Provide patient lists to the doctors.

f. Perform responsibilities of scheduling patients appointments with the concerned doctor

g. Print and prepare hospital bills for patient pick- ups and dispenses

h. Ensure that all NABH rules and regulations are in compliance and followed in the front patient waiting area.

i. Answering phone calls and directing the phone.

j. Check documents of patient Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for accuracy and completion.

k. Check all bills for accuracy and ensure that all diagnosis codes are entered and accurate according to the doctor’s findings.

l. Prepare each bill for billing by ensuring that all authorizations have been obtained accurately and entered into the system.

m. Prepare each bill for billing by ensuring that all insurance information is updated in the EMR and that all patient records have account responsible fields updated.

n. Responsible for checking patients out, collecting money and rescheduling follow- up appointments.

o. Handle communication with patients to maintain optimal customer services for the patients.
