Overview

Job Title: Merchandiser – Men’s Wear & Seamless Garments
Department: Merchandising
Reporting To: Senior Merchandising Manager / Category Head

Job Description Summary:
Experienced Merchandiser with a strong background in Men’s apparel and Seamless garment categories. Responsible for end-to-end merchandising activities including product development, buyer communication, costing, order follow-up, production tracking, and ensuring on-time delivery with quality compliance.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):
1. Product Development & Sampling

Develop men’s wear and seamless garment collections in coordination with the design team.
Handle buyer tech packs, sample approvals, and ensure timely dispatch of proto, fit, and PP samples.

2.Order Management & Execution

Track and manage all stages of orders from confirmation to final shipment.
Monitor production flow through T&A plans and proactively resolve delays.

3.Vendor & Buyer Coordination

Act as a communication bridge between buyers and suppliers.
Follow up on buyer approvals, comments, and ensure clarity at the factory level.

4.Costing & Price Negotiation

Prepare cost breakdowns for new developments.
Negotiate with vendors while maintaining margin and buyer price expectations.

5.Material Planning & Sourcing

Coordinate fabric/yarn and trims sourcing as per buyer specifications.
Ensure timely procurement and availability for bulk production.

6.Quality & Compliance

Collaborate with QA teams to meet buyer quality standards for men’s wear and seamless items.
Ensure product testing, compliance documentation, and audit readiness.

7.Documentation & Reporting

Maintain WIP trackers, shipment schedules, and buyer reporting sheets.
Prepare weekly T&A reviews and buyer status reports.

8.Market Research & Trend Analysis

Stay updated on trends and developments in men’s wear and seamless technology.
Suggest innovations and improvements based on market feedback.
