Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exposure to the NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) and Alternative Investment Fund industry, as well as a knowledge of the lending process. The Product Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the success of our product roadmap, backlog management, and ensuring timely delivery of features to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders: Work closely with clients and internal teams to identify product gaps and gather requirements. Conduct user research and market analysis to define user stories and prioritize features.
• Product roadmap and backlog management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the product roadmap. Manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is properly groomed, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
• Understanding of technology: Possess a basic understanding of technology and the ability to work closely with development teams. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with developers to ensure successful implementation of features.
• SQL knowledge: Familiarity with SQL will be an added advantage, allowing you to perform data analysis and generate insights to drive product improvements and decision-making.
• Run and monitor sprints: Oversee the execution of sprints and monitor the progress of development efforts. Identify and address any blockers or issues that may impede the timely delivery of prioritized features.
• Collaboration with development and QA teams: Work closely with the development and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure the timely delivery of prioritized features. Provide clear requirements and specifications, and perform user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of the product.
• User training and support: Provide user training and support during product rollouts. Help users understand the product’s features and functionality, and address any questions or issues they may have.
• Product documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and other relevant documentation to assist users and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a degree in finance-related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in SaaS platforms for Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of the NBFC and Alternative Investment Fund industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the lending process.
• Experience in product roadmap management and backlog prioritization.
• Basic understanding of technology and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
• SQL knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
