Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ALS Ambulance Driver to join our emergency medical response team in Gandhinagar. The ideal candidate must be experienced in operating Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance vehicles, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation of patients during emergencies. The driver should maintain constant readiness, staying on standby and being prepared to respond immediately to any emergency call.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate and navigate ALS ambulance vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations and emergency protocols.
Maintain standby readiness at all times, ensuring quick response and timely departure during emergency calls.
Assist medical staff during patient handling, loading, and unloading while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Conduct routine checks of the ambulance, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical readiness.
Ensure all emergency equipment, stretchers, and supplies inside the ambulance are intact and functioning properly.
Coordinate with dispatch teams, emergency response units, and hospital staff for smooth patient transfer.
Maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, and basic documentation as required.
Follow organizational guidelines for safety, confidentiality, and emergency operations.
Requirements:
Valid LMV/Transport License (additional ambulance driving certification preferred).
Prior experience driving ALS or emergency vehicles is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of routes in Gandhinagar and surrounding areas.
Ability to stay on standby and respond immediately to calls.
Physically fit and capable of assisting with patient movement.
Calm, responsible, and able to work under pressure in emergency conditions.
