Overview
Alpha Roofing is looking for a Junior AutoCAD Designer with Civil Engineering background who is passionate about structural drafting and roofing design. The candidate will assist in preparing technical drawings and supporting the project and fabrication team.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD for roofing and structural projects
Assist in preparing GA drawings and basic fabrication drawings
Interpret civil and structural drawings
Support senior designers and project engineers
Revise drawings based on site feedback and client requirements
Maintain drawing records and documentation
Assist in quantity calculations and basic BOQ preparation
🎓 Required Qualification
B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
AutoCAD certification (Preferred but not mandatory)
💼 Experience
0–1 year experience in drafting (Freshers with strong AutoCAD knowledge can apply)
Internship experience in structural/roofing projects is an added advantage
🧠 Required Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD (2D)
Understanding of civil and structural drawing concepts
Willingness to learn roofing and PEB structural design
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
